Terms for using TindaTrack
These Terms describe account and protected device access, POS responsibilities, offline/cloud use, subscriptions and advertising, tutorial behavior, deletion, and other conditions for using TindaTrack.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, using TindaTrack, or accessing connected services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use TindaTrack for a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that business. If local law gives you non-waivable rights, those rights continue to apply.
2. Accounts and access
- A Store Owner uses a supported Owner sign-in method, which may include email-based access and optional Google sign-in where offered. Provide accurate account/store information and keep sign-in methods secure.
- A normal Managed Cashier signs in with the Store Code, username, and password created for that Cashier. A separate personal Cashier email address is not required for normal new onboarding.
- The Owner may create a temporary Cashier password, require a first-login password change, and later reset credentials. A changed password becomes the current supported credential across devices that authenticate that Cashier.
- Legacy email-based Cashier records may continue to exist for compatibility but are not the standard new-account flow.
- The Owner controls staff roles and store access and is responsible for assigning accounts to authorized staff.
- Do not share passwords, Owner verification codes, backup keys, or administrator credentials.
TindaTrack may use an internal system-managed authentication identifier for a Cashier. It supports authentication/session management, authorization, and audit attribution; it is not a personal mailbox or user-facing contact email.
3. Offline Access and Owner Approval
Offline Access is a device-scoped sign-in convenience. A locally saved account can use its account password or, when configured on that device, a six-digit Offline Access PIN or supported biometric unlock. These methods do not bypass membership, protected-device, trusted-clock, or Offline Primary restrictions. Online permission verification must be refreshed after the configured period: Owners default to 30 days and may select up to 90 days; staff default to 7 days and may select up to 30 days.
The separate six-digit Owner Approval PIN authorizes protected Cashier actions for five minutes on the device where it is successfully entered. Setting or replacing it requires supported Store Owner verification, and the approval remains scoped to the current store. Owner Approval does not make an unauthorized device valid and does not replace a required Offline Primary lease.
4. Your business data and responsibilities
The merchant remains responsible for products, prices, inventory, recipes, suppliers, discounts, customer-facing transaction records, staff entries, and other information entered into TindaTrack. You must have the right to upload images, merchant QR media, attachments, and other content.
You are responsible for keeping any accounting, employment, food-safety, privacy, consumer, or other records required for your business. TindaTrack is a software tool and is not a substitute for professional legal, accounting, or regulatory advice.
5. POS, inventory, recipes, and reports
TindaTrack provides tools for Retail, Café, and Restaurant workflows. Depending on workspace settings and plan availability, features may include direct stock tracking, recipe-based deduction, product variants/add-ons, held orders, open checks, optional table management, kitchen tickets, and operational/sales reports.
Historical transactions may preserve calculation or cost snapshots from the time a sale was completed. Updating a current item or cost does not necessarily rewrite historical records.
6. Offline and cloud use
TindaTrack is offline-first. Local transactions or edits may not reach the cloud until connectivity and synchronization succeed. Merchants are responsible for reviewing sync status before changing devices, removing a workspace, clearing app data, or relying on a cloud copy.
Cloud synchronization and backup are convenience/recovery features and are not a substitute for independent business recordkeeping. With authorized Trial, Paid Pro, or Complimentary Pro access, multiple registered devices may sell while online under server-authoritative rules. Only the Offline Primary device may sell without internet, using a renewable 72-hour fenced lease. Free Cashier use remains limited to the Owner's protected selling device.
7. Printing and hardware
Bluetooth receipt and kitchen printing depends on device permissions, printer compatibility, power, paper, connection quality, operating-system behavior, and manufacturer implementation. TindaTrack may retry, save, share, or otherwise surface printable content when a printer is unavailable, but it cannot guarantee physical output. Staff must verify printed transaction records and kitchen tickets.
8. Plans and feature access
Free and Pro access may differ by feature. As currently designed, Café Held Orders and Restaurant Open Checks can operate separately from optional Table Management, while Table Management may require Pro where the app marks it as a Pro feature. Feature packaging may change over time, with notice where required by applicable law.
A Free store supports one Store Owner identity and one Managed Cashier identity for that same store on the single protected Free selling device. Only one account session is active on that device at a time. A second Free Cashier and unauthorized cross-device Free Cashier access are blocked. Disabling a Cashier does not release the Free Cashier account seat; removing/revoking that account releases it.
Trial, Paid Pro, and Complimentary Pro may use additional managed or authorized cross-device Cashiers under the current store and device rules. Managed Cashiers inherit the Owner/store entitlement and do not purchase a separate plan for the same store. While active, Complimentary Pro provides the same functional feature access as Pro without being a Google Play purchase.
9. Trial, subscriptions, Complimentary Pro, and ads
TindaTrack account trial
An eligible verified Owner account may receive one 15-day TindaTrack account trial. The trial is administered by TindaTrack's backend, does not charge the Owner, does not automatically enroll the Owner in a Google Play subscription, and does not restart simply because another store/device is created, the app is reinstalled, a backup is restored, or a Managed Cashier is added.
Paid subscriptions
TindaTrack offers Monthly, Six Month, and Annual auto-renewing subscription options through Google Play, with purchase/entitlement processing through RevenueCat where available. These products are not represented as including a separate Google Play free-trial phase unless the purchase screen expressly states otherwise in the future.
- Only the Store Owner may initiate purchase, restore, or subscription-management actions from TindaTrack.
- Prices, billing frequency, renewal date, and any offer-specific terms are shown by Google Play before purchase.
- Auto-renewing subscriptions continue until canceled or otherwise ended under Google Play's billing rules.
- Cancellation effects, refund eligibility, and price changes are governed by Google Play terms and applicable law.
- Deleting a TindaTrack account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Billing must be managed separately through Google Play.
Complimentary Pro
Complimentary Pro is an administrative entitlement, not a Google Play purchase. It has no subscription charge, provides the same functional access as Pro while active, and may have an expiry or withdrawal condition specified by TindaTrack.
Advertising
Ads are eligible only for stores whose Free status has been verified by TindaTrack. Stores with an active TindaTrack account trial, Paid Pro, or Complimentary Pro entitlement are not intended to receive ads. Managed Cashiers inherit the store's advertising status. Consent/privacy requirements and ad availability can vary by country.
10. Guided tutorial and practice behavior
The guided tutorial is intended to teach workflows without silently creating completed business transactions. Tutorial practice sales or practice checkout actions that are explicitly identified as practice are not recorded as completed sales.
However, when the tutorial intentionally opens a real app screen and the user explicitly saves a product, category, Managed Cashier, store setting, or other real configuration, that saved information is real store data and may synchronize according to the store's normal settings. Tutorial progress itself may be stored locally on the device.
11. Acceptable use
Do not use TindaTrack to violate law, access another account or store without permission, interfere with the service, distribute malware, bypass security or entitlement controls, manipulate subscriptions, abuse support, or store unlawful/prohibited content. Reverse engineering remains subject to applicable law and any rights that cannot legally be restricted.
12. Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features; issue updates; perform maintenance; and impose reasonable limits for security, reliability, provider, or regulatory reasons. Offline functions may remain available during some outages, but authentication, cloud sync/backup, billing, entitlement verification, advertising/consent, diagnostics, and email/support features depend on external services and network conditions.
13. Disclaimers and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TindaTrack is provided "as is" and "as available." ScriptHex does not guarantee uninterrupted service, printer compatibility, error-free calculations, legal compliance, or recovery of data that was never successfully synchronized or backed up.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScriptHex is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business-loss damages arising from use of TindaTrack. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
14. Account deletion, Cashier removal, and termination
A Store Owner may request account and associated-cloud-data deletion in the app or through the public deletion resource. Verified Owner requests use a 30-day recovery period. Reaching the deadline makes the request eligible for verified permanent processing but does not, by itself, prove completion. Local device copies must be removed separately.
A Store Owner may remove a Managed Cashier from the store. Normal removal revokes store access immediately; it is not represented as a guaranteed automatic seven-day permanent deletion of the Cashier identity. Permanent deletion of the Cashier authentication identity and direct profile identifiers requires a separately verified deletion/cleanup request and may be delayed or restricted for pending synchronization, security/fraud investigation, protected ownership, financial/audit preservation, or legal obligations.
Completed transaction and operational history may keep a redacted, non-login Cashier reference or historical label where necessary for Store Owner accounting and audit integrity.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse, legal compliance, nonpayment, or material breach, with notice where appropriate and required.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect product, provider, legal, regulatory, or operational changes. The effective date will be updated. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms except where additional notice or consent is required by law.
